Our Mission

The Montana Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates is dedicated to preserving and promoting the right to civil jury trial as guaranteed by the Seventh Amendment to the United States Constitution; safeguarding the independence, integrity, and impartiality of the judiciary; and advancing the rule of law in the State of Montana.

We are also committed to fostering the highest standards of civility, professionalism, and ethical advocacy within the Montana trial bar, while promoting public understanding of and confidence in the civil justice system. Through education, mentorship, and leadership, we strive to ensure that Montana’s courts remain a fair and effective forum for the resolution of disputes and the protection of individual rights.
